چکیده
Dioscorea bulbifera L. is a widely distributed plant in the humid and sub-humid tropics. The taxonomic treatment of this species ambiguous due to its extreme polymorphic morphological characters. Therefore, it imperative assess distribution, inter intraspecific variability relationships D. bulbifera. In study, genetic diversity distribution 41 accessions Uganda were investigated. Diversity among was assessed using accessions, descriptors SNP markers. To investigate relationship between individuals populations, heat map, phylogenetic tree, principal components analysis used. A total 221455432 paired-end raw reads generated out which 162662 loci called with 150 bp (2×150) targeted depth 112 million reads. Analysis data has proved heterogenous population an exception Abur that stand as homogenous populations. This study revealed utilization advanced sequencing techniques such GBS combination statistical robust method for evaluating complex crop aerial yam. Key words: Aerial yam (Dioscorea Linn), diversity, markers, Uganda.

Diversity in Grain Amaranths and Relatives Distinguished by Genotyping by Sequencing (GBS)
The genotyping by sequencing (GBS) method has become a molecular marker technology of choice for many crop plants because of its simultaneous discovery and evaluation of a large number of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and utility for germplasm characterization. Genome representation and complexity reduction are the basis for GBS fingerprinting and can vary by species based on genome si...

Background: Genetic diversity is an essential resource for breeders to improve new cultivars with desirable characteristics. Recently, genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS), a next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology that can simplify complex genomes, has now be used as a high-throughput and cost-effective molecular tool for routine breeding and screening in many crop species, including the species...

This study was conducted to identify and recognize relations and diversity among accessions of the Iranianpears (Pyrus spp). A total of 34 pear accessions, derived presumably from at least six species, were subjected to simple sequence repeat (SSR) analysis. The Japanese and the Chinese pear samples were; “Housui” and “Yali” cultivars, example of Pyrus pyrifolia and P. bretschneideri, respectiv...
متن کاملTASSEL-GBS: A High Capacity Genotyping by Sequencing Analysis Pipeline
Genotyping by sequencing (GBS) is a next generation sequencing based method that takes advantage of reduced representation to enable high throughput genotyping of large numbers of individuals at a large number of SNP markers. The relatively straightforward, robust, and cost-effective GBS protocol is currently being applied in numerous species by a large number of researchers. Herein we describe...
متن کاملA Robust, Simple Genotyping-by-Sequencing (GBS) Approach for High Diversity Species
Advances in next generation technologies have driven the costs of DNA sequencing down to the point that genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS) is now feasible for high diversity, large genome species. Here, we report a procedure for constructing GBS libraries based on reducing genome complexity with restriction enzymes (REs). This approach is simple, quick, extremely specific, highly reproducible, and ...
